Bag dumps provide places where workers can fill a hopper by physically lifting and cutting open a bag. At Horizon Systems, we offer two bag dump options with integrated dust collection.
Small Bag Dump IDCU series
The integrated dust collection system on the IDCU series provides a downdraft of air across the open grate area. This captures fugitive dust, promoting a cleaner and safer working environment. The bag dump houses filters above the product area for easy replacement without interfering with the product area.
Micro Bag Dump MBDR series
Our MBDR series offers hinged door access with a gas spring to keep the door in the open or closed position and has a lockable switch assembly. Identification locks can recognize RFID tags or barcodes to help maintain ingredient integrity by preventing the operator from dumping the wrong material into the hopper. The MBDR can also be placed on load cells for inclusion accuracy.
