At Horizon Systems, we understand how important airlocks are to metering your ingredient flow. They’re also prone to breaking down over time due to internal and rotor wear, potentially causing costly shutdowns while you fix or replace them. Stay prepared and manage your airlock inventory by having a spare airlock on the shelf and be sure to have a trusted partner for when you need repairs.
That’s why we created our Airlock Rebuild Program. By letting us repair or rebuild your airlock, you can save up to 25% of the cost of a new one. We even back our refurbished valves with a 1-year warranty, so you can confidently put your airlock back on the line knowing it’s still in expert hands.
Your airlock should be assessed if:
- There is air leakage
- There is materials leakage
- Performance drops
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:
- Contact our Service Solutions Group (SSG) team to begin the process.
- Our team will assess if the airlock is rebuildable or replaceable and provide you with a quote based on your intake form.
- Swap your airlock out for your backup from your inventory, or purchase a replacement airlock from us to use while we repair or rebuild your current one.
- We will give you shipping instructions to send your airlock in for repairs.
- Once we have the airlock, we will carry out a final assessment and begin repairing or replacing your component.
- Once the repairs are finished, we will send your airlock back to you and provide a 1-year warranty on the valve.
Can my airlock be repaired or rebuilt?
We have the capability to repair Horizon System’s proprietary airlocks, as well as many models from other manufacturers — including both 8-vane and 9-vane airlocks. If we are unable to rebuild or repair your specific model, our knowledgeable staff will help identify the best solution for your needs.
