The design and construction of this valve are similar to an airlock in that the housing, closed end single blade diverting rotor and end plates are machined to tight tolerances. This valve is compact in size and can be used on a wide variety of products from four to limestone. Should the valve be utilized to converge the flow of material, the rotor is then equipped with two additional rotor plates, creating a “tunnel” (HTV Series) to help protect the housing.
