OSHA Abandons Combustible Dust Standard
OSHA recently announced the abandonment of their effort to write a combustible dust standard. This article contains helpful information on what the regulatory climate will look like going forward. The article also highlights the increased awareness and enforcement by other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) such as fire inspectors, building inspectors and insurance companies.
It’s important to note that OSHA will continue to enforce as they have in the past and will continue their National Emphasis Program for combustible dust.
