| RECEIVER SELECT VALVE
This valve is utilized in a vacuum conveying system to allow for one vacuum blower to sequence between multiple receivers. A rubber disc seats against the valve body (closed position) preventing vacuum from being drawn on the inactive receiver. The receiver select valve, while in the closed position, also allows a path for atmospheric/free air to enter the receiver allowing it to “breathe” or “draw-in,” air during discharge of the receiver. In the open position (only one valve can be open at any given time) vacuum is pulled only on the selected/active receiver. This type of valve is also sometimes referred to as a dump valve or three-way valve and is very common in vacuum sequencing systems.
