This tunnel style diverter valve is utilized to divert material flow in a dilute phase pneumatic conveying system from one source to either of two destinations. This valve can also be used to converge material flow from two sources to one destination. The design and construction of this valve is similar to an airlock in that the housing, closed end single blade diverting rotor with two additional rotor blades to create a "tunnel", in the flow path through the valve and the endplates are machined to tight tolerances.
